Ekaterina Erchova,
decorative painter specialized in imitation wood & marble
I’m Ekaterina, a decorative artist based in Belgium, trained at Van der Kelen–Logelain in Brussels.
With a background in architecture, I combine an understanding of space and proportion with the precision of traditional decorative painting. I specialise in trompe-l’œil, imitation marble and wood, creating bespoke painted surfaces with depth, character and atmosphere.
My work spans private interiors, decorative objects and restoration. I am currently contributing to the restoration of the Aula Peristilium in Ghent, recreating historic stone surfaces through traditional techniques.
I am available for bespoke commissions and collaborations in Belgium and abroad.
